5 Months

Raegan looks EXACTLY like my mom in this picture it is not even funny!

Seriously, I blinked my eyes and all of a sudden my baby girl is 5 months old. Ask any parent and they will tell you that having a baby makes time go by so much faster. Every day spent with Raegan is my new favorite day, this girl is so stinkin happy. Every night I go to bed thinking, today was my absolute favorite day with her and there is no way tomorrow could get any better, but then I think the same exact thing the next night. 

This past weekend Eric was away at State from Thursday morning through Saturday night. It was most definitely a reality check on my end and completely made me realize that raising a family really takes a family and that having Eric around not only makes life easier, but makes life way more fun. I was stressed by Saturday. I was just mentally struggling with mommy guilt. I had a list of things I had to do before Raegan and I left the house and I felt like I wasn't being "fun mom" while I put Raegan on her play mat while I ran around getting bags together, myself put together, pumped, etc. It just didn't feel like the fun morning I wanted to have with her. But enough about me, the latest and greatest in the life or Raegan Isabel:

• This girl has lungs! She loves to hear herself talk and she isn't shy about being heard. She  squawks in public and she is loud and she loves to get people's reactions. I have a feeling she is growing out of her "shy" stage!
 
• Raegan rolled over from back to front for the first time on May 23rd, too bad no one saw it because she did it during the night.  This weekend both Eric and I have finally witnessed the roll over, now she just needs to get better at going from tummy to back.
 
• Since learning how to roll over Raegan has instantly became a side sleeper. The second I put her down at night she is on her side. The past few nights she has rolled to her tummy but when she decides she wants off her tummy she screams for us since in her mid-half-asleep state she can't figure out how to do that. Luckily this normally doesn't happen until after 5 am.
 
• She is VERY interested in everything around her and reaches to grab at anything in front of her. For some reason she is really attracted to things that are bright blue.
 
• Raegan continues to love Keags and now when she hears him she will turn her head to find where he is at. She talks to him every morning and 9 times out of 10 he is the first one to get a Raegan smile.
 
• She is ticklish on her back and left side and it is so cute to see her squirm and giggle
 
• We are now in 6 month clothes and still size 2 diapers.
