We've made it to three weeks, although to say we have found our groove with two kids would be a lie. Weston was much more awake this week, which it was nice to see his handsome blues. However, when he's up he's a huge fuss-bug. He definitely is not one who likes to just lay on the floor and hang out. I find if i don't change his scenery often he gets bored, aka, fussy. He likes to be held, all the time. And really prefers most of the time being in the sling attached to me. I do think he is sensitive to the foods I am eating and drinking and unfortunately I do think coffee really bothers his stomach. Huge bummer if it's true, but the good would be it could be an easy fix to his fussiness. I'm going sans-caffeine the next few days to see if we notice a difference in his mood.
We also battled a nasty eye-something this week too and were put on eye drops. Poor kid had neon green eye goobbies all week. Between that, the slight baby acne we now have and the scab on his nose, we're a mess. :) But big sister doesn't seem to mind all the grossness and fussiness coming from her brother. He is still smothered with kisses and hugs daily.
We are still not going any longer than 2 or at best 2 and a half hours at night as far as eating, but here is to hoping for longer stretches next week.
