There isn't too much more to say about Weston's second week of life. He still slept through most of it during the day, open eyes is such a rarity in our house that when it does happen it's a huge deal to Raegan. Weston's really not eating on any type of schedule. I remember Raegan was eating about 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours at this point. Weston is all over the board when it comes to eating. Some days he chug down 24 oz, and then the next only 10.
I really forgot how tiring the newborn phase is in life. Although he sleeps most of the time, geez those what seems like a million of nightly feedings are slowing killing me (I'm sure Eric too since he hears ever single noise Weston makes at night, I only really hear the screaming "I'm hungry cries"). He does seem like a bit more fussy of a baby and generally we have to hold him upright for a good 15 minutes after each feeding, otherwise he seems really uncomfortable and spits up a ton. That extra time in the middle of the night doesn't help to getting more sleep.
He's still sleeping in our room in the bassinet, but we're thinking this weekend we'll move him to his crib. I think we may all sleep better if we're in different rooms. We'll see how that goes. Overall though he is a snuggle bug and we are very slowly getting used to this two kid thing (although I'll admit we have a long way to go)
Happy 2 weeks handsome man.
