10 Months

This past month has been a blast. Weston is so much more active and into stuff and it's been a riot to watch him get into everything. I know I'm crazy for saying that. For his 9 month birthday we gave him the gift of crying it out. We had hit our breaking point with the nightly wakings. We never fed him, and we never had him go to bed with his paci, but when he'd wake up at 11 we'd just throw a paci in his mouth because it was the easy and quick fix. But then he'd wake like clockwork at 1 because he needed that paci to be found in his crib and be put back into his mouth. We were done. It took about a good week for him to finally get the point, that first night he cried for 2 hours. But guess what... he sleeps through the night. Why did we wait for so long, no one will ever know.

He's crawling, army style, everywhere. He's so much more curious about his surroundings than Raegan ever was and it's so much fun. This past month he has learned to sit up on his own, pull himself to his knees and to a standing position. He's totally into all of big sissy's stuff. He has the cutest little wave, bending only at the wrist vs. opening and closing his fingers (if that makes any sense). He claps when others clap and is so beyond proud of himself when we play the "How big is Weston game". I've been saying it for months, he's pretty much heave on earth.

He still only has two teeth, even though I feel like I've been saying he is teething for months now. Literally he is like a constant leaky faucet. It's pretty much insane how much drool ends up on our floors at the end of the day. Raspberries all day, everyday. Smacking his tongue. He's like a lizard how often he sticks his tongue in and out of his mouth. Dada is basically the only word he ever says these days. Weston say Mama.... Dada.

His favorite foods are bananas, shredded cheese and basically anything that is a carb. He hates all veggies, which has been fun. He is still in size 4 diapers, 12 month tops and 9 - 12 month bottoms depending on the brand.

We sure do love you boo-boos. Happy 10 months
