We have had a full couple of weekends. The Sunday after Thanksgiving Eric, Raegan and I headed downtown for the Christkindlmarket. I remember going last year feel super preggers. Eric and I started going a few years back and we love it. It is beyond crowded there, but the food is awesome. Us Kramers love us some good food. Raegan had some German pancakes with apples sauce and then some fresh pretzels. She hammed it up quite a bit for all the strangers passing by. Can't get enough of her.
Dunkin Donuts pit stop to warm up
Then this past Saturday we headed back to Chicago to eat in the Walnut room at Macy's. This was something I always did as a kid with my mom, dad and the neighbors. My mom had been wanting to start up this tradition again the second she found out I was pregnant. It is a sweet way for us to talk about Grandpa Rick and tell Raegan stories about her late grandpa. My dad always loved the day we started the Christmas season with taking the train downtown, window shopping and whistling along with the Christmas music. We love and miss grandpa Rick everyday and it was fun to reminisce with my mom about dad.
Eric had a blast! ha!
meeting the fairy and getting sprinkled with fairy dust
We were with two other adults and yet the only picture we got was a self portrait, go figure.
Success
