Holy heck, our baby girl is already one month old. Is it bad that I am already thinking that I now only have 11 more months to plan her first birthday party! :) ha! Eric and I could seriously not have asked for a sweeter baby. Yes, she has her moments, but she has been treating us well this first month as we all try to figure out our new roles as parents and daughter. No one could have prepared me to how different your life becomes after a baby, both the good and the bad. But then you get a big gummy smile while your baby falls asleep in your arms while you are trying to put her back to bed at 2 am and your heart just melts. It are moments like that where your heart just grows with more love. Happy one month baby girl, we love you!
- At three and a half weeks Raegan finally started "looking at us" not just past us. Love!
- She is still eating about three ounces every three hours
- We have had a nighttime routine with her these past two weeks already, I hope it isn't just a fluke. Normally bed between 7:30 and 8:30, she then gives us four hours before her next feeding at 11:30/12:30. After that it is 1:30/2:30 and then normally she is up at 3:30 and almost refuses to go to sleep unless being held. Eric blames me and my 3:30 alarm clock for work those 9 months.
- Just started fitting in a few of her 3 month outfits, but has basically worn newborn these past four weeks
- Raegan giggled in her sleep for the first time last weekend, it was the most adorable thing
- She loves to follow her butterfly and ladybug toys that have large black and white patterns on them
- Her favorite way of being held is up on our shoulders. She has such great neck control already and loves looking around (especially at our family room wall)
- Still wearing newborn diapers
- Has sleep great in her crib since 3 weeks old
